Memorial Day 2026

A short note from UOTech.ai for Memorial Day. We pause to remember the service members who did not come home.

Today we pause for Memorial Day.

This is the day set aside to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to the country. It is not Veterans Day, which honors those who served and came home. Memorial Day is for the ones who did not.

We are a small business on Long Island. Many of the people we work with, the clients we serve, the team members we lean on, and the neighbors we run into at the deli or the chamber meeting carry the memory of someone they lost in uniform. A son or daughter. A husband or wife. A parent. A friend.

We are thinking of them today.

If your team has the day off, that is a good thing. If you are working today, take a quiet moment anyway. The day is short, and the meaning is worth it.

If you live nearby, parades and ceremonies are still happening across Long Island this morning and afternoon. Farmingdale, Huntington, Northport, Bay Shore, Patchogue, and plenty of other towns turn out for them. They are small. They are local. They are worth being at.

Thank you to the families who carry this day with them. We are back to regular operations tomorrow.
